A Favorite Christmas Food

Today I’m going to be sharing with you my favorite Christmas food and drink. The drink might be obvious……..

I love to curl up in the evening in slippers and a big, fluffy blanket and drink some hot chocolate! It’s so delicious!

Since it doesn’t really count as “food” I also am including sugar cookies(I love to make them:)

Christmas Traditions

Today is day four of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge, I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite traditions. Check out Megan’s blog here. It’s never too late to participate!

The first tradition we have is on Christmas Eve evening we go to my church for our Christmas play. This year I am the lead:D My Grandparents always come and stay with us during Christmas and are there to watch us at the play.

After the play, we go home and have a big dinner and then we read the Christmas story and finish up our advent calender. Finally, we open up our family presents! Then we (obviously!) go to sleep.

On Christmas morning, we go to my aunt’s and uncle’s house for brunch and open presents from our aunts, uncles, cousins, and my other grandmother. She usually comes back to our house with us and then we all hang out and set up/play with our gifts(mostly my brothers setting up three or four Lego sets)

Those are just a few of the traditions we do at my house. What are some of your favorite Christmas traditions?

My Christmas Wish List

Ho, Ho, Ho! How are you all doing? Today I’m going to be showing you my actual Christmas wish list. The one list I did earlier was just a fake one. As you probably know if you read that post. Also, be sure to check out Megan’s blog because this is day 3 of her blogging challenge!

DISCLAIMER: I did ask for all this but I don’t expect to get all of it, I just like to give my family lots of options because it is too hard to decide! With that said let’s get started.

Bailey Bow UGGS in Grey, these are so cute!!

A light blue Speedo backpack, they are so spacious! (it’s a swimmer thing:D comment if you know what I mean)

This battery charger is chic and I know that I’d use it all the time.

Whoever invented these is a genius!! This is another thing I’ve wanted for a while.

Christmas Lights….

I know this is weird, but I’m using them to decorate my room if I get them.

Cordial Cherries…. I’m kinda obsessed. If you haven’t tried them you should, it’s basically chocolate with liquid cherries filling in the middle!

Hi! Here is my Christmas Wish list!

Mini Maryellen! She is so adorable and the closet doll to my look-alike. I would LOVE to get her.

Birth Stone earrings, unlike my sisters I don’t really like all the crazy dangles, I’d much rather some simple, but colorful earrings.

The Shimmer and Lace party dress is so pretty and it’s even modeled by a girl who looks just like me!

I want the Petals and Plaid PJs so badly. They didn’t have any pictures of just the doll in the outfit. I don’t know why!

That’s everything on my list! I hope I get some of it.

Bethany’s List:

GUYS! I’m so excited for Christmas, here’s my list!

If I get these, I’ll be satisfied with not getting anything else for Christmas!

I hope to get these PJs, I will totally live in those shorts.

I’ve always wanted a curling iron, I would really like curls!

If she’s going to retire I need her now.

Grace’s meet outfit, boots are bae!

The Gorgeous Gold outfit, I’ve always wanted a fancy dress, to sit at mirror and sing sad songs in…. That’s not weird, is it?

The first thing I want is the leggings and socks set, my sisters are always losing our’s and I’d like to have some of my own.

Sparkly Toms? Count me in! They look so comfy and would provide a great fashion statement.

I’ve had my eye on this purse since it came out. Please Mom, Please!

I would wear this beanie with the sneakers, so trendy!

Polar Bears, fuzzy booties, frills = Cutest, pajamas, EVER!

Warm Winter outfit and accessories, finally, a purple and orange combo!

I know my list is a bit long but I couldn’t decide. Too many nice things.

I only want a few things. So let me show you.

EVERYONE has these (at leat people who are cool do) and I totally need a pair.

All the tennis shoes we have are pink and sparkly, I need something not so girly, like these striped tennis shoes!

The big item I want is the sports bench! It has a bunch of AWESOME sports equipment and mom will buy it because she’s been looking for a bench for the mud room.

These PJs are retired but they are so cozy looking I just have to get them.

I think I’ll get everything on my list because I’m not asking for that much!

Chistmas Ornaments

Hi! Today I’m going to be showing you a Christmas gift I made.

This is an ornament I made! My mom found these right after Christmas last year and bought them for me. Each packet was only a few dollars and contained supplies to make 1 ornament. I made a bunch for my friends and they were pretty easy and very cute!

I couldn’t find any similar ones online (My mom said they were an old design when she got them) Sorry! Have you made any DIY Christmas presents? Comment below!

Welcome December!

Hey everyone! If you’ve been around my blog for a while you may remember this segment last Christmas season! The girls like to do a count down to Christmas and want to share it with you. The new tag for this year’s is C2C2015. So boring. Sorry! Doll take over. I know it isn’t awesome but my mind is blank(Comment suggestions) The girls are getting really mad at me for rambling so I’ll give it over to them. I hope you like the post:)

Nikki’s POV

Being the newest member of the family I was asked to start out this post. We [the dolls] will be showing you how we decorate for Christmas and giving you a run through of the posting schedule. So let’s start!!

Here is our tree. It’s silver and we decorated it with candy canes and green balls.

We like to add a tree skirt, and a decorative angel on top!

My sisters let me do the topper since I never have.

We also hung our stockings and changed the bed covers.

Here is the finished room. Well since I’ve been blabbing away, Jessica is going to take over and tell you about our posting schedule.

New series Ideas! Winter 2015-2016

Hi everyone! I’m starting a new photo series! I have options for you to choose from. Please comment below and take the poll! It will premiere on January 1, 2016. I’ll announce the winner sometime mid-December. Here are the two options:

Forever Family:

This was an option last year but you voted in Camp Summer. I had some comments about keeping Forever Family an option and here’s your chance:)

Emily’s parents just died. She’s sent to live in a group foster home with two other girls. What she doesn’t know is that the strict caretaker, Ms. Johnston, gives the girl tons of chores and never enough time for homework and fun.  The girls devise a plan to escape and Emily finds what true friendship and family is all about.

After Camp:

You all loved camp summer and so I thought, why not learn a little more about their life after!

Aisha is struggling to fit into her new foster family and a new town, while Novia is struggling to handle her life without her mom. The girls learn to stop focusing on the past and focus on the future and we learn a little more about the rest of their family in the process.

Writing Prompts

Hi everyone! Today I am going to be sharing some of my writing ideas/prompts. I am participating in the NaNoWriting challenge and was thinking up a lot of ideas. If you want to know more click here. Tell me which one you think I should write about. Feel free to use my ideas, but please ask me first. Thank you Loren for this post idea! Now I’ll stop rambling and get right into it:D

1. A girl is switched from her rich life and is mistaken as a foster kid in a good situation.
2. Maya has always felt different and one day she finds out she is.
3. My sister and I are to be separated. I must treat her like a slave or become one myself.
4. I loved the puppy the moment I saw it, but keeping it was a different story.
5. Where do all the disappearing socks go? To sockville orphanage of course!
6. My best friend had been bullied for a while. I finally had courage enough to tell an adult, only to find out it was too late.
7. She day dreamed quite often and wished for her life to be like what she dreamed. Until she met someone with it.
8. At my mom’s house, I get great grades and I’m really quiet, but at my dad’s house I’m his sassy, social princess.
9. She was an author absorbed in her books. A world of fantasy at her fingertips and it became real.
10. The day I had dreaded for so many years was here.
11. I always thought my life was pointless and a big joke until I came to live with the Hardy’s.
12. There is a typhoon on my island.

Nikki’s Back!!!

Okay, let me start by saying, I know I should have posted this sooner, sorry. Wow that sentence had way to many commas! Secondly, If you have been considering sending your doll in to the doll hospital you totally should. I was very pleased and impressed, though American girl has lots of faults, this area is not one of them. I was completely satisfied!

I would definitely recommend that if you have an older doll or one you used when you were younger you do this. It was completely worth it and AG pleasantly surprised me. It took a while before they sent me the email saying she had been admitted to the hospital, but after that she was back by that weekend. Sorry that I’m finally getting around to posting this… but thanks for reading!
