Life Behind the Camera (Episode 1)

 

*Plays some kind of intro TV theme song*

“Hi guys! Or girls. Actually probably girls. My name is Bailey and you may be thinking ‘who is she?’ Well I’m better known by my characters names, Novia from Camp Summer and After Camp or Jasmine from Worst Enemy, Best Friend. That is the point of this series, to show the blogging community what the Americangirlguide clan is like, off set. Because we are really just a bunch of sisters who are slightly insane. This intro is getting long and I’m just rambling which isn’t like me. Anyway, so let me start.”

“So Mom said I needed to give a quick tour of the bedroom because a lot had changed since the last time we showed you a doll house tour. She said to mention it was in a post linked here. She likes to add lots of links. Anyway, this is the left half of our very small room which is the more studious side. It has our desk and book shelf.

On this side we have Brook’s flute and music stand along with our beds. By our I mean Brooklyn’s, Jessica’s, and mine. Bethany and Nikki have their own room which we’ll show later. In the back of our room you can see our three dogs, Sugar, Pepper, and Rolf. My mom likes dogs so she made sure that we have some.

“Bailey what are you doing?” asks Jessica.

“Oh wow, you are super out of focus Jessica. I’m shooting the first part of Mom’s new series.”

“Why didn’t you tell me? I mean I am the star,” Jessica demands.

“SHHH. They don’t know about that series yet!” Bailey replies.

“So basically I’m a nobody to them?”Jessica questions.

“No, you are John, Ryan, and Ms. Madison to them.”

“Two of those are boys. I’m so excited to finally have a major role as a girl. And my name is really pretty too,” Jessica said.

“Don’t give them anymore spoilers Jessica!”

“Ok, fine. Do you know where Nikki is? I want to show her my new clothes,” Jessica announces.

“WHAT? You went shopping?? You hate shopping and malls and fashion. Why on earth did you go shopping?”

“Can’t I try something new? Besides this new series gave me an excuse to buy some more clothes. Keegan’s wardrobe is cute but it needs more pieces,” Jessica said carelessly.

“You just gave out her name!”

“Who’s name? Ohhhh, you mean Keegan. Ahem. I mean that person. Well you can just edit that out right?” Jessica said.

“No I can’t. Now stop giving spoilers!”

“Hi there! It’s Bethany now! They’ve switched cameras so that Jessica doesn’t give out anymore spoilers. So I’m supposed to show you my room.”

“We have our wardrobe in the right corner, our desk in the middle, and our bunk beds pushed up against the left side of the room. Sorry about the mess. I just got home from dance class and haven’t had time to clean it up.”

“BROOKLYN! Why is there a DOG on my bed?! You know I can’t stand dog hair!” Bethany said suddenly.

“Well,” Brooklyn started.

“Hey, Nikki, look at these cute clothes I got,” Jessica interrupted.

“Oh, cute! Next time you should bring me Jessica,” Nikki said, “By the way, I think Bethany is having a slight over reaction above me so you may want to get out of her way!”

“BROOK. WHY WOULD YOU BRING A DOG IN MY BED?? I need to do my homework but I can’t when SOMEONE brings a DOG which has DOG HAIR on my bed,” said Bethany, hyperventilating.

“BETHANY, THE DOG IS HYPOALLERGENIC!” Brooklyn screamed back.

*slow motion*

“WHAAA,” said Brooklyn.

“What just happened?” someone yelled as they all ran over.

“She’s unconscious! We need to take her to the hospital,” someone else said.

DUN-DUH-DUH.

And that ends episode 1 of Life Behind the Camera.

Okay, so, I may have created a new series. I know a few posts ago I said I wasn’t enjoying writing doll posts as much but then I wrote this and I REALLY liked it. So, I think I’m just going to write both kinds of posts for now. I’m still figuring it all out.

Also, I’m having trouble figuring out how to write this since the whole post is dialogue. Was it clear who was speaking? I’d love to hear your suggestions in the comments 🙂 Let me know what you think of the new series and if you would like to see the other series I spilled some spoilers for.

Finale Part Two (After Camp)

Aisha’s POV

Here I was, my special spot. I always use it to think. Why had I been so rude to Novia? She was just trying to help. I began to realize why as I let my thoughts drift,

Back to the day my mom died and my dad handed me over to social services.

When I was just a little girl who just wanted someone to love her.

When I was told I would be going to camp and when I met Novia and the pranks she played.

I remember becoming friends and moving here. I recalled bowling on Friday nights and never, ever, being able to get a strike and family day every Sunday, where I slaughter everyone in Monopoly.

I started sobbing. It was hard thinking about all the good and bad that had happened. All these great memories would become that and no more. Novia probably hated me. As soon as I got back to the house the social worker would be there to pick me up and I would leave this behind. After sitting for a few more minutes, I decided it was time to face it. I climbed up the hill to the house, I’d better start packing.

*Woof, Woof*

“I’m sorry about this, I just thought we were ready to handle her. I guess we aren’t ready for this extra responsibility,” I overheard my foster mom say.

They were talking about me. Frantically, I entered the room.

“WAIT, WAIT, what?” all of a sudden I was confused, instead of a social worker, it was Principal Fletcher, in workout clothes, holding a dog leash.

“Oh, Aisha! I’m sorry I forgot to mention, that I’m giving up on Pepper. It is a lot of extra stress to train a puppy, especially this one. ”

“So this isn’t about what happened at school? And you’re not sending me back?”

“Oh, that is where I come in. I’m sorry that we have not had more time to talk about the situation at school. It was brought to my attention that you were being bullied and I learned that it was a joke put on by some rude girls. I’m sorry I blamed you,” Principal Fletcher said.

“Oh, that isn’t a big deal! As long as the social worker isn’t coming,” I replied.

“She is, but only because we want to pursue adopting you!!”

“Really? Thank you! Is it okay if I run over and talk to Novia? I need to talk to her.”

“Sure, just be back by 1:15, so we can work out the details,” Eileen replied.

I couldn’t believe it! I was getting adopted, by people who loved me and cared about me. I ran over to Novia’s house and top speed.

“Novia!!” I exclaimed, “I’m so sorry, I couldn’t bear losing you so I overreacted and was mean. Will you ever forgive me?”

“Oh Aisha, I knew you would come back! Of course I will!” Novia said.

I felt so relieved to have my friend back!

“Novia, Aisha, come here! I need to tell you something,” Mr. Scott yelled.

“I told you I would make a decision about whether or not we would be staying here or if we would move. That would affect you as well Aisha so I’m glad you are here for this, “He began.

“I know you just moved here Aisha and that you and Novia are amazing friends. Jake, Novia, I know you’ve lived here your whole life. I also know that your futures will be greatly impacted by this move, if I accept. With that being said, I still think there are a lot of benefits involved with the move and that’s why I have decided to accept the position. We will be moving as soon as school’s out.”

“Cool dad! I will miss this place though,” Jake said.

“Girls, any thoughts,” Mr. Scott asked.

I said in a shaky voice, “I love Novia, she is my best friend, but you are her father and you know what is good for her. Just because I’m selfish and want her to stay here with me, doesn’t mean I should keep her from such a great opportunity. So Mr. Scott, I support you decision.”

“Oh, Aisha, how did I ever not like you? You are the greatest friend ever. Don’t forget that.”

“We have a long road ahead, Novia, and a full life to live, but trust me, I’ll never forget you,” I claimed.

“Me neither,” Novia promised.

YES! I finally posted this! What did you think of the ending? I have two endings and I’m writing this outro before I even write the post.  So even I will be somewhat surprised 🙂 I hope you liked it! Let me know what you think by commenting. It’s a cliffhanger… MWHAHAHA!!!

By the way, I already have a plot forming in my mind for the next part of the story, but who knows if I’ll get to do it. Bye for now!

(Episode 5 of After Camp)

“I have been offered the new position! It would mean we might need to transfer to San Francisco in a few months.” my dad announced.

“WHAT?! You said no, right?” I exclaimed.

“I haven’t given them an answer yet. I will need to before our meeting Tuesday. I think it will be good for us to have a change.”

“But Daddy,” I pouted, “I like it here just fine! This is my home.-” After that, I rushed off.

Jake tried to stop me, but I wiggled out of his grasp and ran to my room.

Aisha’s POV

“Aisha, I’m sorry to have to call you back, but we have something very important to discuss,” Principal Fletcher said.

“I received this note, ” she explained.

“It is an anonymous note from one of our students telling me that you have been fighting and threatening them,” she continued, “I’m not saying I believe them, but I still have to tell your social worker. I hope that we can resolve this and that you didn’t do this Aisha.”

I walked into the door after talking with the principal. How could someone do this? I tried to hold back the tears, but soon my eyes became blurry and the tears escaped. Wait, I heard voices. It was Eileen and Paul.

“I don’t know, Paul. I’m not feeling so confident that she is improving. I’d never thought she’d be so naughty,” Eileen said.

“We have to give them an answer. Do you think it’s working out or do you think we need to send her back?”

 They couldn’t do this to me. This was the only place I’d ever felt at home, but what could I do about it?

*Novia and Aisha are on the phone*

“Aisha! I have horrible news. My dad has been offered the new position! We have about a week to decide,” Novia said hurriedly.

“Oh-no. I have a problem, too. Someone, Britney I think, slipped a note under Ms. Fletcher’s door. It was about me and how I’ve been hurting her and threatening her. Now, it is on my record and I overheard my foster parents talking. I think they are going to send me away,” I sobbed.

“Aisha, listen closely, we only have one more option. Execute Operation Alamo!” Novia said.

Wow, this series is almost over! I decided that the next part will be the finale, but it will be split up into two parts. So I’ll keep torturing you until almost the end of February! This coming weekend I’m going on a retreat so I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to post. It depends on if I have time 😉

Testing Trustworthiness (Episode 3 Of After Camp)

Aisha’s POV

“Hey Aisha, what’s up? You’re not looking very happy,” said Ryan.

He was right. In my mind, all I could think about was those mean girls and wonder why they didn’t like me.

“Ryan, can I ask you a question? When you first moved in, did you feel accepted?” I asked.

“Yes, they loved me and cared about me, unlike anyone else. They stuck by me, even when I made mistakes and wasn’t the nicest.” he replied.

“What about with other kids?” I asked.

“I had my share of fights and problems with other kids, but eventually I got over it.” He said with a laugh.

“Thanks for the advice Ryan. I’ve always wanted a big brother, maybe I’ll finally get my wish.”

I got up and walked to my room. I hadn’t even tried to use our plan, but in turn I had. Novia and I were just one step closer to our goal.

 Two Days Later…

Novia and I were walking through the dark, dim halls on our way to chemistry class. It was gloomy outside and I think everyone inside was having a bad day. I knew I was, first I spilled a bowl of cereal on my new pants, then we had a pop quiz in history, and now we had to go to Chem.

“Hey losers, whatcha doing?” sneered Karen.

Ugh, I really disliked mean girls, “Hi Karen,” I said sweetly, “We were just heading to chemistry. What about you?”

“Oh, you’re in Chemistry? That’s to bad, because I am too. Hopefully I don’t have to sit next to you two.”

“HEY! What’s going on here?” Jake demanded.

I looked up and saw Jake glaring at Karen, with him was Ryan.

Karen stuttered, “I was just talking to your sisters about how awesome it was that we are in the same class.”

“Bye Karen,” I said loudly.

“Sorry about that, some kids are just jerks,” said Ryan.

“See you after school. We have to run. We’re gonna be late!” I said hurriedly.

 

Novia’s POV

“I now call this meeting to order,” I announced, “Aisha, I know this is an unplanned meeting, but there is something important that we must discuss.”

“We decided at our last meeting to meet in a week to decide if our subjects have passed the test, but I think after what we saw today that we should vote now! How do you feel Aisha?”

“I agree. All in favor of inviting Jake and Ryan to our plan says ‘I'” Aisha proclaimed.

“I!” she said.

“I! Let’s bring them in,” I said.

“Ryan, Jake, you can come in now!” she called.

“I feel like I’m in court or something,” Ryan joked.

I cleared my throat, “Boys, we need to tell you something top-secret. We might have lied to you a few times, sorry, but that’s only because of what we are about to tell you.”

Then Aisha said, “We recently found out that Novia and Jake’s dad has been working more and is grieving deeply.  I am also trying to get adopted. So, Novia and I have concocted a plan. We would like you two to be involved, but only if you promise not to tell anyone.”

“HA,” said Ryan “I told you they were up to something.”

“So you were right…” muttered Josh.

“BOYS, are you going to help us or not?”

“I’m in,” said Josh.

“I’m game,” Ryan said.

“I’m ready to do this.” said Aisha.

I looked at each of them and then placed my hand on top and said, “Thank you so much, all three of you. We’ve got a lot of work ahead of us, so we better get started!”

After Camp~ Premerie

Aisha’s POV

*this is blurry for effect*

“Hello Aisha. We are so excited for you to come to live with us,” a woman said.

My newest foster family so far seemed really nice, but I mean I’d only been around them for about 5 minuets, but I wasn’t excited that they had another foster kid. I don’t have a lot of experience with “siblings”

My new foster-brother, Ryan, jolted me from my thoughts.

“Aisha, it’s almost time to go! You don’t want to be late on your first day,” he yelled from the hall.

I glanced around my new room, my “mom” Kaitlin had bought me some many things. I’d never had so many things in my life. New clothes, backpack, lunch box, room, shoes, everything! I couldn’t wait to see Novia. That’s what I didn’t mention earlier, my best friend lives in this same town, but she doesn’t know that!

When I found out I was moving to the same town as her I decided it would be a good idea to surprise her. I quickly packed my backpack.

But before I left, I took out my old backpack and dug around until I found the picture of my mom. She died a few years ago and ever since I’ve carried her picture around. 

Novia’s POV

Ugh! Today was the first day of school. Last year at the start of the school year I had a lot of friends. Even after my mom died they were still my friends, but things started to change. After I got back from camp, I found myself even more distant from them as well as my dad. Once mom died I think he tried to bury himself in work to get rid of the grief. I was surviving but I wasn’t exactly excited to start 8th grade friendless. My one and only BFF lives 100s of miles away.

“Hey, we have to go,” my brother said.

“Where is dad?” I asked.

“He had to go to work early and couldn’t make his special first day of school breakfast. He wanted me to tell you he bought Pop Tarts instead.”

My stomach churned, first it was no back to school shopping with mom, then there was the weird open house, and now no special breakfast.

I trudged quietly to school beside Jake.

Once in the building, I began to head toward Room 202. On my way I thought I saw Aisha, my BFF, but decided I must be hallucinating.

Inside Home Room, I saw the girl again she smiled at me and walked over. My mouth dropped open in surprise and my managed to sputter, “AISHA?!”

“Hey, surprise! I sorta didn’t tell you I was moving here.”

“Seriously? Your so mean,” but I threw myself into her arms anyway. I’m sure we probably looked crazy but I didn’t care. I was grinning when we went to sit down and the rest of the day was a blur.

Next thing I knew we were walking home.

“So what did you think my, I mean, our school?” I asked.

“I can’t believe its kindergarten – 12th grade.” She replied.

“Yes it is very—-”

Ryan slid by me on a skateboard.

“Oops sorry!” he called.

“Ryan! Watch where your going.” Aisha chimed.

“You know him?”

“Yup. He is my new brother, what about you?” She asked.

“He is Jake’s best friend!” I said.

“What a small world!” We laughed and headed into my house.

“Dad? DAD? Where is he?” I muttered.

“Look! A note,” said Aisha,”I had to stop by to pick up some stuff. I’ll be gone overnight on business. There is pizza in the freezer. Love, Dad.”

I sighed,”Okay, well I guess you’ll have to meet him another time.”

“So you will be home alone?” she asked.

“I guess so,” I replied, “It happens all the time, anyway let’s go to my room.”

In my room Aisha asked, “Novia, are you okay? We’ve been having a great time and all but I can see you’re a little distracted.”

I laughed, “I can’t hide anything from you. I’ve been thinking….”

“That’s a great idea!” Aisha said once I finished explaining my plan. Maybe, if this works, my life could return to the way it was. But only if two things happen. IF Jake and Ryan will help us and IF we followed the plan exactly.

“We have a lot of work to do.” I said.

New series Ideas! Winter 2015-2016

Hi everyone! I’m starting a new photo series! I have options for you to choose from. Please comment below and take the poll! It will premiere on January 1, 2016. I’ll announce the winner sometime mid-December. Here are the two options:

Forever Family:

This was an option last year but you voted in Camp Summer. I had some comments about keeping Forever Family an option and here’s your chance:)

Emily’s parents just died. She’s sent to live in a group foster home with two other girls. What she doesn’t know is that the strict caretaker, Ms. Johnston, gives the girl tons of chores and never enough time for homework and fun.  The girls devise a plan to escape and Emily finds what true friendship and family is all about.

After Camp:

You all loved camp summer and so I thought, why not learn a little more about their life after!

Aisha is struggling to fit into her new foster family and a new town, while Novia is struggling to handle her life without her mom. The girls learn to stop focusing on the past and focus on the future and we learn a little more about the rest of their family in the process.

The Beach~ Finale of Camp Summer

I hope you like the finale! Any picture that has a golden tint to it is supposed to be a flash back by the way. The pictures turned strangely gritty when I edited them. Sorry.

Girls, this is really hard for me to tell you and before I tell you, you have to tell each other some things about your family.

“I doubted that Ashia would ever know what it’s like to lose her mom,” I thought.

“Novia, my mom died from pneumonia a few years ago and I am a foster kid now,” Ashia told me.

Wow, I thought my story would be hard to tell. My mom was killed by cancer a few years ago. I’ve been really missing her.”

“The reason I asked you to share this is because , your moms went to this camp, they were best friends and they buried a time capsule back in 9th grade for you to find. I was best friends with them, too. I knew that I always wanted to work here and so they asked me to give you a map to the time capsule.”

“Is this the right spot?” Ashia questioned.

“I hope so!” I said

Aisha and I were at the beach a few days later, searching for the time capsule. What would we find inside?

“I found it! Let’s dig it up!” I exclaimed.

Let’s take this back to the beach house and find out what’s inside!

Gabby’s POV

“Okay, Lexi. Did you bring the stuff?”

“Yes I did. We have to assemble this time capsule quickly.”

“What if I never get married or we don’t have girls, Lexi?”

“Trust me Gabby, we will.”

“We could always adopt….” Gabby said.

“Now that the time capsule is buried what do we do?”Lexi asked.

We make a map of it and give it to Maddie, to hide. She’ll keep it safe for the girls.

Aisha/ Lexi’s POV

“Why did they do this?” I asked.

“I don’t know, but they were pretty cool.”

I sniffed. It was the first time I had come to the beach with out Gabby and also my last time to come.

I wondered if my little Novia would ever find the time capsule. How would she ever get to camp? I had wanted to send her this year, but decided against it, knowing it would be our last summer together.

I dug up the time capsule for the millionth time. We had added so many things to it over the years.

I looked back at myself when I was a freshman. I had so many dreams, if only cancer hadn’t cut them short.

“I miss my mom and this brings back so many memories!” I said.

“I miss mine too,”she replied.

“I never really sad goodbye,” I said sadly.

“What else is in there?” she asked.

Pictures of them during freshman year.

Notes they wrote to us and each other.

Journal entries to each other.

There where get well soon notes and cards.

“There’s a lot in here Aisha. How will we decide who will take it home?” Novia asked.

“What if we just put it back and get it next year?” I replied.

“Good idea!”

“Novia, I’m so glad I have a friend like you! I’ll really miss you when camp is over.”

The girls had an amazing time, but it eventually did come to a close.

“I’ll miss you, Novia!”

“I’ll miss you more and no matter what happens promise you’ll write me!” Novia pleaded.

“I promise! Bye!”

I stared out the window and watched my best friend and her brother disappear. I was sad,

but I knew even if I didn’t see Novia for a year, that the bond between us could never be broken.

Baking a Sweet Treat (Episode Seven of Camp Summer)

I’m disappointed with the quality of these pictures, but I didn’t want you to have to keep waiting. So I’m just going to post them…

“Novia, It’s raining outside. What are we suppose to do? We wont be able to finish the service project!” I said.

It was the second day of probation and hopefully the last. In order to be off probation Novia and I had to spend two whole days together and during that time do some kind of service project. It was day two and we hadn’t done anything. Today was also the last day to sign up for the beach trip we really wanted to go on. At least we were friends now. Lat night we stayed up so late. I was really tired….

“Ash, ASHIA, please come out of your day-dream!” Novia screamed in my ear.

“Huh?” I said coming out of my daze.

“I have the perfect idea! Our favorite treat is chocolate cupcakes, right?”

“Yes. With maraschino cherries on top!” I replied.

“What if we made some and gave them to some of the girls that are in the camp infirmary!” She said triumphant.

“High five! Great idea Novia. Let’s go get started.”

Novia’s POV

We arrived at the kitchen mess hall and gathered the supplies:

-Oil

-Water

-Eggs and the cupcake mix

“Now for instructions,” Novia said.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Add the dry box mix.

Crack the egg, into the bowl.

Pour in the water and oil.

Add the chocolate syrup.

Mix it all up.

and pour into cupcake liners and bake.

While the cupcakes were baking, we made pretty packaging to put the cupcakes in.

Then we packaged the cupcakes and washed the dishes.

Once everything was ready, we went to the infirmary. Aisha knocked on the door.

We were in a patient’s room.

“HI!” I said, “We made some cupcakes and decided to bring them to you. By the way, I’m Novia!”

“And I’m Aisha,” Aisha chimed in.

“Thank you! I just love cupcakes! My name is Leigha.” She opened the gift and took out one cupcake.

She took one bite and smiled,”These are so good!”

“This card is also cute and it’s my favorite color!”

“Then we toasted with our cupcakes. To Leigha: Feel better soon!” I announced.

“Thank you so much for stopping in to see me! I haven’t had a lot of girls stop by. I think they’re afraid of catching hives! How funny is that?” She said. We laughed and then we were on our way.

Aisha’s POV

Next, we went straight to our meeting with Miss Madison.

“Girls, I’ve seen a lot of improvement in the two of you these last few days and have decided that you should be off probation.”

“Whoo!!” I said.

“Now we can go to the beach!!” Novia exclaimed.

“Let’s go sign up!”

“Girls, before you leave there’s something else I’ve been meaning to tell you……” Miss Madison said ominously.

Picnicking by the lake (Episode six of Camp Summer)

Novia’s POV

  I had to spend the next two days with Aisha. She literally ruined my life, but I didn’t have anything better to do. Also I had no choice, it was part of being probation. 

“Good morning,” Aisha said, interrupting my thoughts.

“Hi” I mumbled.

“I think we should go canoeing, today. What do you think?”

“Sure. Why not?” I replied.

“I’ll go get changed and pack us a lunch.” Aisha said enthusiastically.

“Okay, I’ll get some towels and I’ll meet you at the docks in an hour,” I responded.

“Wow! This lake is sooo big.” I said in awe.

“Sure is, now I was thinking we could go to the west side of the lake, take the creek into the woods and picnic there,” she said.

“Whatever, as long as I don’t get wet.” I replied.

“I can’t guarantee that, Novia….”

“I’ve never been boating before,” I cautioned.

“There is a first to everything.” Aisha said eagerly.

Next thing I knew I was in the boat. I prayed I wouldn’t die or fall in.

Aisha’s POV

It was so calm and peaceful in the boat. Gentle breezes. Water reflecting the trees. Sun shining gently on our heads. It was beautiful.

I hoped I could somehow convince Novia to like me and find out why she was pranking me. Maybe it would stop and we could become friends!

We made it to the creek which was completely in the woods. I saw a perfect spot to stop.

“The food looks really good,” Novia said.

“Yup, but they didn’t have any chocolate cupcakes at the mess hall,” I exclaimed.

“AWW, those are my favorite,” she replied.

“Mine too!” I said.

“Hey, I’m sorry for how I’ve acted and I really mean it.” She said out of the blue.

“I forgive you, but why did you play that last prank anyway?”

“Because I thought I could get you to leave camp and I definitely don’t want to go home,” She confessed.

“Me neither, but why did you want to get rid of me in the first place?” I questioned.

Well you see… and then she told me all about how she liked Josh and then saw me with him and assumed we were dating. She also thought I read her diary.

I was laughing so hard. That’s what this was all about? Josh is cousin and best friend but I moved so we haven’t seen each other in forever!

“Now I feel really bad….” She said.

“Serves you right!” I replied.

“I think we should start heading back,” she said.

“Okay, I’m fine with that. I’ll go get the boat,” I responded.

We rowed back in silence.

“What should we do now?” I asked.

“I think I want to take a nap,” said Novia.

“Okay, I guess I’ll read then.”

And that was the end of our trip. I guess we’ll get to know each other better tomorrow.

Once again thank you to my brother for helping me take these pictures. The second time I took them, the dolls were unharmed. Can you tell the difference between the first and second take? Camping Disaster (Episode 5 of Camp Summer)

Aisha’s POV

It was now Monday July 6th. We were going on a week-long camping trip. I met Ms. Madison and some other girls outside of the mess hall after breakfast. Unfortunately, Novia was in the group, but at least I’d have an oppertunity to kill her with kindness, like Josh had said. Ms. Madison gave us some instruction on hiking and what to do if we got lost and then we were off.

The sun shone brightly the whole time we were hiking, making me very hot and tired.

Finally, we were done for the day. I felt like I had heat stroke and fifty billion blisters, but the counselors dismissed that idea and said I was overreacting. While the others rested in their tents, I went for a swim.

Ahhh, the water was so refreshing. I couldn’t wait to dive in.

Novia’s POV

It couldn’t have been a better time for me to find Aisha, about to get in the water.

I had the best prank! She was consumed in her swimming, I scurried over and took her towel and clothes. If she wanted them she’d have to come back to camp, naked!

I had only a short time to work on my next prank, if Aisha got back before I was done the prank would fail.

I took out my lotion bottle and a fake snake. Won’t Aisha be surprised when she crawls into her sleeping bag and feels something slimy crawling around?

I put the lotion on the snake and planted my trap.

Aisha’s POV

After along day I crawled into my sleeping bag.

“AHHH!! What is that?” I screamed.

I pulled a slimy thing out of my sleeping bag. IT’S A SNAKE!

*Click* All of a sudden there was a bright light shining in my face.

“Oh, Aisha don’t be silly,” Ms. Madison says “It’s fake, now go to sleep”

That morning at the campfire, Novia had something to say, “I’m sorry Aisha I was the one who has been pranking you.”

“I forgive you Novia.” I replied.

“I hope we can become friends!”  she said.

“Thank you, Novia for being honest. You will have a punishment when we get back from camp, though.” Ms. Madison said.

After that, we finished breakfast and began to pack up camp.

Novia’s POV

I took my Ipod out of my bag and put it at the bottom of Aisha’s bag.

She’d be sent home for stealing, possibly. I hoped so. All that stuff about being friends, a complete lie.

I dumped my stuff out on the ground.

“Oh-no! I can’t find my Ipod,” I announced in fake horror, “Ms. Madison, can you please look through everybody’s bag? I think someone stole it!”

Ms. Madison didn’t have it and soon it was down to one last bag, Aisha’s.

Lastly Aisha’s bag was dumped out and just as I planned there was my purple iPod at the bottom of the bag.

She sighs,”Aisha, I’m really disappointed in you. I’ve decided that you and Novia are on probation.”

MY DOLLS DROWNED! Ok, not really. I was taking the pictures for part 6 and the dolls needed to be in a boat…. They would have been fine except my brother was helping me and then he fell in, causing them to fall in. The dolls and my brother are fine, but that was a set back. Thus, I am not finished with the series and school has started. We also haven’t had any rainy days and we didn’t have supplies to make muffins, Hint, Hint. Sorry about that, and by the way it wasn’t really my brothers fault, so don’t be angry with him:):) That’s it for now.
