Hi! My name is Rebekah but my friends call me Bekah. I love writing, photography, being with friends, and spending time with my wonderful family.
When I first started my blog in 2014 it was centered around American Girl Dolls, which used to be my main hobby. So if you look back on my older posts that is what you’ll see. Recently I’ve changed the theme of my blog to fit me more, now, in 2017. The kind of things you’ll see on my blog include tutorials, my writing, my photography, and an over all lifestyle theme. I will still be throwing some doll posts in there though.
When coming up for a name for a new site I mainly came up with the idea based off of a comment I received from a girl who goes by CutePolarBear she said, “Yes, I think that is a good idea. I don’t think you even have to change your blog name, because you ARE an American girl; right? (Unless you’re British or something :P) So it still sort of fits!”
I loved this idea from the moment I read the comment, because yes, I’m an American Girl. I decided to change the name from Americangirlguide to An American Girl’s Guide. I really like writing and reading posts that help other people. So this was perfect for me.
Blogging so far has shown me just how much I love writing and photography. Each blog post I try to make better then the last. I also have a second blog about my faith, that you can check out here.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading my blog and that it helps you in some way–because that’s my goal. To give you a guide through life through the eyes of a teen. I’m always looking for post ideas and ways to improve my writing and photography, so feel free to comment ideas 😛 I hope you stick around!

Hi Rebekah! I wanted to let you know I just put your button my blog. 🙂
Thanks!
Clara
Thank you! I would put yours up but I can’t figure it out. Could you help me?
Sure thing! Here’s what you do:
Go to customize, and click on Widgets.
Find the Image widget and click that.
Right click my button and select “copy URL.”
Paste the URL into the space in the image widget.
If the URL won’t work, clip a picture of my button and use the URL of the screenshot.
Hope that helps!! 🙂
Thank you so much! If you look on my main side bar, you will see your button.
Wanna do a button swap? 😉
Sure!!
Great! I’ll get yours up soon.
Ok. I just posted yours!
Love the new layout Rebekah! I love your story about how you got into dolls. Honestly it took a lot of convincing from Michelle for me to buy these dolls for my daughters. I thought that the Barbies they had were good enough… but then I saw all the accessories and clothing and I was hooked! Out went the Barbies and in came AG, Maplelea, OG, JG, and any other kind of 18 inch doll! Now here I am two years later blogging about them too! 🙂
Thank you! I had a lot of fun designing it. My grandparents bought me my first American girl doll, before that I hadn’t heard of the company at all!
Just so you know, you have until 8:00 tonight to take your photo. 😉
Thank you! I just added it to the bored
Okay!
I love your blog, Rebekah! I followed! 😀
