Writing Prompts

Hi everyone! Today I am going to be sharing some of my writing ideas/prompts. I am participating in the NaNoWriting challenge and was thinking up a lot of ideas. If you want to know more click here. Tell me which one you think I should write about. Feel free to use my ideas, but please ask me first. Thank you Loren for this post idea! Now I’ll stop rambling and get right into it:D

  1. A girl is switched from her rich life and is mistaken as a foster kid in a good situation.
  2. Maya has always felt different and one day she finds out she is.
  3. My sister and I are to be separated. I must treat her like a slave or become one myself.
  4. I loved the puppy the moment I saw it, but keeping it was a different story.
  5. Where do all the disappearing socks go? To sockville orphanage of course!
  6. My best friend had been bullied for a while. I finally had courage enough to tell an adult, only to find out it was too late.
  7. She day dreamed quite often and wished for her life to be like what she dreamed. Until she met someone with it.
  8. At my mom’s house, I get great grades and I’m really quiet, but at my dad’s house I’m his sassy, social princess.
  9. She was an author absorbed in her books. A world of fantasy at her fingertips and it became real.
  10. The day I had dreaded for so many years was here.
  11. I always thought my life was pointless and a big joke until I came to live with the Hardy’s.
  12. There is a typhoon on my island.

What did you think? I can’t wait to participate in the Writing challenge but I need a good story and plot first:) Ā Please comment any prompts you have! Also, my storage on WordPress is 97%. Does anyone know how I can get more storage and how to resize pictures? If you so please let me know! Thanks:)

  1. Ooh! Nanowrimo sounds like fun, but I have too many stories started to start another one!;) I wish you luck!:D Here’s a writing prompt-
A girl is reading a library book when a slip of paper falls out of it. What does it say?

  2. HI Rebekah, I like (in this order) #7, #10, and #5. I can’t wait to see which of the 12 you decide to write about.

  3. Hi Rebekah! The only way to get more storage space is to pay money. However, it is easy to re-size photos to reduce the file size. I use Paint.NET to edit my photos, but most image programs should have this feature. Also, you can use the online site PicMonkey to resize photos. Hope this helps!
And I like writing prompt #11 best. šŸ™‚

  4. Awesome writing prompts! I like #3. I ran out of memory on my (free) WordPress account, and my dad helped me figure out how to upload the pictures from Google Drive. If you want to resize pics, I use Photo Gallery like so: Select the folder of pictures you want to resize, then click: select all>resize>resize and save. Hope this helps!

  5. I really like them all! I just joined NaNoWriMo today! What’s your username? We could be writing buddies! Mine is LucyPevensieFan, and my story is called “Listen to my Voice”
I’m SO excited to get started!!!!!:D

  6. Ooh, 2 and 3 are veeery interesting!! I really want someone to write about hose :). I loved reading all of your ideas, hopefully you’ll do more like this! šŸ˜€

  7. Awesome ideas! 3 is tough, and 5 is funny. My blog isn’t exactly the same, but on mine I can delete my old pictures where it says “Add Media”, since I’m not going to use them any more. That might clear some things up.

  8. These are fantastic prompts! I’ll have to try a few. šŸ˜‰ That’s awesome that you’re doing NaNo! It’s extremely motivating for me. xD

      1. I bet you will! That’s great that you’re enjoying it! I find that it can be a little stressful sometimes, but I love the feeling of accomplishment when you make it to your daily word goal. I think it’s quite an exciting experience! šŸ˜‰
